Lin Yue is a treasure. She took us to studios I'd never have found on my own — we watched a 70-year-old master throw porcelain so thin it glowed. I glazed a tea bowl and she shipped it to my home in California. It arrived perfectly. Wuyuan was the perfect contrast — so peaceful after the creative energy of Jingdezhen.
